The history of Built Rite Custom Homes dates back to 1968 when Sal Urrabazo Sr. started Sal's Construction Company as a framing contractor.  Over the next 30 years, Sal's Construction framed thousands of homes all over the greater San Antonio for many track and custom homebuilders.  In 2000, Sal's Construction branched out as a full service custom homebuilder.  Over the last 13 years, Built Rite Custom Homes has built hundreds of custom homes while earning a reputation of quality, honesty, top notch customer service. You can trust that our experience and expertise in residential construction will give you a home you can enjoy for many years to come.  

Sal Urrabazo Jr.

Sal Urrabazo Jr began his work with Sal's Construction in 1985 assuming all management responsibilities from his father.  Sal's leadership over the past 30 years produced tremendous growth in the framing business.  Sal has also lead Built Rite Custom Homes over the past 13 years starting with just a few homes per year to now building 20 to 40 homes per year.  His building expertise and knowledge of real estate and general business are invaluable to us. Sal is part owner along with Bennie Martinez of Sal's Construction and Built Rite Custom Homes.   

Bennie Martinez

Bennie started with Sal's Construction in 1980 as a carpenter.  Eventually working his way up to a lead carpenter, field manager, and now part owner, Bennie gives Built Rite Custom Homes over 30 years of expert framing and building knowledge along with many years of subcontractor management experience.  

Dan Martinez

Dan was raised in the construction industry. The son of Bennie Martinez, Dan worked many summers, as well as off and on throughout college framing houses and learning all the details of residential construction from his father, uncle, and grandfather.  Dan handles many construction/project management/customer service duties and serves as our in house technical expert.  Dan holds a degree from Lubbock Christian University in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems.  Dan also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, A+ Computer Repair Certification, and a Network+ Computer Network Technician Certification.
